Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan (KVS), started school in Venkatagiri in 2007. Being the only educational institution in the place that is affiliated to CBSE, PM Shri Kendriya Vidyalaya Venkatagiri strives to create an inspiring and nurturing environment where every student can achieve their full potential. The Vidyalaya is located in an eco-friendly campus spread over seven and a half acres in the Palakendram area. The Vidyalaya has classes from Balvatika III to XII with Science stream at the Senior Secondary level
